Decorating Pumpkins

Tired of carving pumpkins and dealing with all of the mess?  I love all the creative ideas out there and thought I would share a few.

First of all, here is the pumpkin that I just decorated.
Photobucket

I really wanted a white pumpkin but the store I was at didn't have any.  So I bought an orange pumpkin and painted it this metallic gold/cream color.
Photobucket

Last, I glitterfied it.  Back in the day, people used to call me, "Glitter Queen". I still love using glitter despite the awful mess you always have at the end.  I think the best things in life are messy!
Photobucket

Here are some other ideas that I found. . .

These are so unique!
Photobucket

How about making them into something?
Photobucket

Nylons.  No longer just for your legs!
Photobucket

Stack them and put vinyl on them!

Buttons anyone?

Using chalkboard paint, beans, and paint some fun designs.

Vampire pumpkins?  These look hilarious!

Decorating Masks

When Ben and I were in Venice, Italy this summer, we picked up some of these masks for the kids.

Photobucket

Ben was excited to decorate them with the kids.  We love doing projects with the kids and love seeing their creative and artistic sides come out.

First, he spray painted them each an inital color.

Next, using our Silouette machine, he made vinyl shapes that the kids wanted.

He then placed the vinyl shapes on the masks and then spray painted it a different color.

Last, we decorated with puffy paint, glitter, and ribbon.

Here are the finished products. . .
